Sushi Cat

10/03/2010

Sushi Cat is a game where you are a cat, and you eat yummy sushi. The first time playing this game, you are shown an intro of a cat so fat that it bounces instead of walks. The fat cat spots another cat sitting in the window a restaurant and instantly falls in love. When the cat tries to enter the restaurant, he isn’t fat enough to be detected by the sensors on the door. That’s how he gets the idea to eat sushi until he is fat enough to get through the door to make babies with the other cat.

The actually game is very simple. All you have to do is click once and you drop the cat. The cat falls and eats sushi because that’s what cats do. As the cat eats it grows bigger and eventually it falls to the bottom into a box with a number, which multiplies your score. After eating all the sushi on a level, you are congratulated with the message, “Full Belly Achieved!”, and stars appear on your screen. During the game, the same 20 second song plays which can get very annoying. Luckily there is a mute button to turn it off.

Overall, I give this game a 10/10. I rate this game even higher than my previously favorite game, Halo 3, simply because cats are awesome. To play this game, visit http://armorgames.com/play/5379/sushi-cat

Yaris Arcade Game

08/02/2010

YARIS

This is coming from the NUMBER ONE Yaris player in the WORLD. Yaris is the BEST arcade game currently on Xbox Live. (Yaris was discontinued in November 2008) The only way to obtain this game now is to call 18004MYXBOX and beg them for a download. Although the last time someone tried this, they charged 1600 MSP for a free game.

The gameplay in this game is superior to any other game except for Halo 3. In single player, the objective is to reach the finish line while being continuously attacked by a variety of enemies. On some levels, you will fight bosses like a giant spider and a giant robot. You can attack the enemies with guns including shotguns and rockets but it’s easier to simply dodge the enemies. The only reason you’d need to kill everything is to reach a high score but there’s no point because you’ll never pass my highscore.

Modern Warfare 2

This past weekend I have had the pleasure to play MW2. I first played the campaign and I was blown away. Within the first 30 minutes of the game, my jaw dropped. In the game, you have to track down a terrorist named Makarov. You are part of a special team called Task Force 141.  The game takes you all around the world, fighting in places such as Russia, Afghanistan and the United States. By the end of the game, my heart was pounding and my hands were sweaty.

The multiplayer is extremely addictive. You begin with a few default classes, but as you level up you unlock new weapons, equipment, and perks. There is a mode called spec ops, which are short, intense missions that you can play with a friend. The missions can be anything from racing on snow mobiles, to sneaking across a forested area in ghillie suits.

Modern warfare is an amazing game, and possibly one of my favorites.

Assassin’s Creed 2

The game takes place right after the first, continuing the story of Desmond. It takes place in Renaissance Italy this time, instead of the crusades. The story is still full of religious conspiracies, with you making a significant discovery while fighting in the Vatican. The story ends in a major cliffhanger that leaves me anticipating the release of the third game.

The graphics are very impressive; cities such as Florence and Venice are beautiful. The free-running is still a blast. Being able to get to one end of the city to the other without every touching the ground is awesome. The combat is very impressive also. The counter-attacks and disarm moves are the most amazing I’ve ever seen in a video game.

I hate randoms and bks

27/10/2009

I hate bk randoms so bad. They try so hard and I still beat them GG NO RE scrubs. They make the game so easy, I can’t stand it. It isn’t even fun anymore because it’s so easy. Even the pros are bad. Take a look at walshy, he is a nubcake scrub badkid. I would 5-0 him on his host any day. Anybody could, he is bad. I hate randoms, bks, and scrubs.

Halo

A list of the original Halo 3 achievements can be found on this website.

http://www.zimbio.com/Halo+3+Skulls/articles/13/List+of+Halo+3+Achievements

The Campaign Complete achievements are unlocked by finishing the game on normal, herioc, and legendary difficulty. I would recommend to just play through the campaign once on legendary if you don’t want to play the whole thing 3 times. Completing the campaign missions on any difficulty besides easy will unlock the single mission achievements.

Skulls “eastereggs” are hidden throughout the Halo campaign. There are a total of 13 skulls hidden. 4 of the skulls are silver skulls and do not unlock achievements. The remaining 9 gold skulls unlock achievements when picked up, each achievement worth 10g. The skulls may be difficult to find and may require a guide to find. A guide to find the skulls is linked below.

The skulls can be activated in the campaign menu and each effect the campaign in some way. Each skull that is activated also gives more points while playing the campaign meta games.  I’d recommend 2-4 skulls to be activated depending on your skill. Only Thunderstorm, Mythic, Fog, Famine, and Iron skull should be activated as the others make the game too difficult.
